Abide in Me, and I in you

John 15 has been the chapter i’ve been studying the past couple of days. in just one chapter the Lord says so much, and every Word has to be treated as gold, or else you’ll miss out on a lot. in this chapter the Lord says that we are branches that produce fruit, and He is the vine. We cannot bear fruit apart from Him. as a branch has to be attached to the vine to bear fruit, so we have to be abiding in Jesus. Abide simply means to rest in, be comfortable, linger, tarry on, etc. We must be this way with Christ. the way that Christ says to abide is to memorize His Word. “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7. IF if the Lord said knowing His Word is important, it must been. God knows what He’s talking about.

Memorize the Word this week, abide in Christ!
